You know I was suprised to find we even have a drop off site in my county.  Typically we get left out for things like this.  I'll have to make sure my local peeps know.

Lynn I have to check to see if we have a site near me.  But my wife is very careful to stay on top of the expiration dates on all drugs we have in the house, whether prescribed or over the counter.

If they have it (see comment above) in Tammy Lankford's Georgia country-side area -- bound to be near you somewhere - please let others know!!!
Even if your wife is on top of this --- not everyone is. Your sharing the info could save a child stumbling onto unneeded meds in the house.
All the best - Lynn

I think a worse occurance is that people put expired meds into the drains or flush them.... which gets drugs into our ground water systems.

Great info here Lynn B. Friedman  I do believe in Philly the purifier of water would take out any drug contamination  at least that is what my doctor told me

Lynn

Old drugs need to be legally destroyed.

Good luck and success.
