National Parks & Federal Recreational Land Lifetime Pass - Get It NOW

National Parks & Federal Recreational Land Lifetime Pass Get It NOW

LIFETIME Senior Passes to the National Parks and Recreational Land, for Park Visitors age 62 and older, are available for only $10.00 at this time. However, a new law, passed on December 10, 2016, will go into effect on a future date as yet unannounced.

Buy yours now and beat the SIGNIFICANT cost increase.

Under the new law, the cost of a Senior Pass will rise to at least $80 and perhaps higher in certain circumstances. There is a $10.00 processing fee to obtain the pass.

Another bit of information from AR Ambassador Cindy Jones in Virginia, if a person is military or a dependent, that person may qualify for a FREE Lifetime Pass. Thanks Cindy Jones .

Federal Agencies that honor the Lifetime Pass include:

  • The Forest Service
  • The National Park Service
  • Fish and Wildlife Service
  • Bureau of Land Management
  • Bureau of Reclamation

Check this link for a list for locations of Federal Recreation Sites where you may obtain the Lifetime Pass.

If you are not near one of those sites, you may purchase your Senior Lifetime Pass online using the USGS service. Proof of eligibility, such as a scan or photo of your Driver's License, Passport or State Issued ID, is required.

The program is called AMERICA THE BEAUTIFUL. Enjoy your visits to behold the wonders of this great country we call home!

All the best - Lynn

Great information, Lynn B. Friedman .  How old do you have to be to qualify as a senior?

That's quite the increase on the senior passes.  I'm glad I procured mine a few years back.

For $10 I am all in on this one. Even $80 doesn't sound bad but $10 is better.

We bought ours a few years ago when we went to the Grand Canyon and have used it a couple of tines since.  A great deal fro $10. and even good at $80 if you go to enough parks
