PLANCAST 21st Century Gathering Technique Par Excellence Part One
Worldly Developments just invented a better mousetrap!
The Developers describe themselves as "a software ... team in San Francisco with a passion for designing valuable social experiences for the web."Mark Hendrickson (Co-Founder & CEO) and Jay Marcyes (Co-Founder & Lead Programmer) along with Peter Sauer (Business & Community Developer) produced an easy to use valuable tool for all of us to enjoy! PLANCAST 21st Century Gathering Technique allows anyone to set up a meeting or gathering at any time and anywhere in the world.
AR's own Carra Riley introduced me to PLANCAST 21st Century Gathering Technique with her Blog Post about Google+'s First Anniversary. When I started to write this post, there were 34 cities listed - now it is at 94 cities: Ontario and Montreal;Shanghai; Manila; Puerta Vallarta and Mexico City, DF; Baltimore, MD; Boston, MA; Kuala Lampur, Malaysia;Dubai, Adelaide, Australia; Oxford and Astcote, UK; and Gulf Shores, Alabama to name a few.
I looked up Atlanta, GA. There it was - a big gathering set for Central City Park at 5:00 pm Saturday, June 30, 2012. All set for fun in Hotlanta!
One thing I really like about PLANCAST - the developers allow one to sign in by email - I hate being forced over to Facebook to sign in somewhere. To experiment, I decided to try to set up a meet and used PLANCAST 21st Century Gathering Technique for myself. Using the program was a real pleasure - intuitive and easy to follow.
Have a happy day -

Like you, I don't like being forced to sign up on FB. I am signed up for the Baltimore Meet Up but it is still in up in the air with no location.

Good to know there is another option out there. I heard that JP Faranda just did a great 'cast' thru Google + which is what I was planning on using.
Dear Margaret and Lyn,
What a wonderful thing for me to see both of you as I finish my commenting for tonight! Two special friends smiling at me!!!

Sounds like a good time to be had by all and I wish we could do things like that but no does.
